The closing ceremony of the 15-day residential training camp organized by Rashtra Sevika Samiti in Ranchi, Jharkhand, was held at Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir. Chitra Tai Joshi, Akhil Bharatiya Sah-Karyavahika, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the importance of Bharat Mata as the nation’s life force, providing for all needs. She called for dedicating every action to the nation. The event also commemorated the 300th birth anniversary of Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar, recognizing her contributions to justice and service. Joshi highlighted her efforts in renovating holy sites and her inspiration to the younger generations. Rani Durgavati’s sacrifice was also remembered, with Joshi hailing her as a symbol of courage and patriotism. Nirmal Kaur, former Director General of Police, praised the Sevikas’ discipline and service. Over 2000 people attended the event, representing educational institutions, social groups, and the public. The camp saw 225 Sevikas from 20 districts of Jharkhand participate. The camp focused on fostering discipline, physical strength, patriotism, and cultural values through activities like yoga and discussions. The training provided a comprehensive development program. Senior workers and officials provided guidance. The camp also included discussions on national duty and environmental protection. A parade was held on June 6th, with the Sevikas marching in full uniform. Key members from various organizations were present.
