The closing ceremony of the 15-day residential training camp held by Rashtra Sevika Samiti, Jharkhand province, at Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Dhurwa, Ranchi, was a significant event. Chitra Tai Joshi, the All India Co-Executive, delivered a keynote address, emphasizing the profound importance of Bharat Mata as the life force of the nation. She stated that every aspect of life should be dedicated to the service of the motherland. The event also commemorated the 300th birth anniversary of Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar, recognizing her contributions to service, righteousness, and justice. Ahilyabai’s restoration work at sacred sites across India was highlighted, along with her lasting impact on cultural revival. The life of Rani Durgavati was also remembered, her sacrifice a symbol of courage and patriotism. Retired Director General of Police Nirmal Kaur, the chief guest, commended the discipline and dedication of the Sevikas, noting that such camps cultivate responsible citizens. The training camp saw participation from 225 Sevikas from 20 districts in Jharkhand, focusing on discipline, physical fitness, patriotism, and cultural values. The Sevikas engaged in yoga, exercise, discussions, and service activities daily. The camp provided comprehensive training on various aspects of their development. Senior workers and officers guided the camp. The curriculum included discussions and exercises on patriotism, civic duty, social harmony, indigenous products, and environmental protection. A march in the city by the Sevikas in full uniform was a highlight of the event, celebrated with floral tributes. The program was attended by numerous prominent figures.
