In a brutal act of violence, two friends riding a motorcycle in Jharkhand’s Khunti district were attacked. The incident, which took place late Friday night, resulted in the death of one individual. The other victim was severely injured. Following notification from locals, the police swiftly arrived at the scene. The deceased’s body was taken into custody and sent for a post-mortem. Investigations to find the attackers have commenced.
The two friends were on their way home from Saiko weekly market, when the incident occurred near a secluded bridge in Kochadih village. The attackers first threw chili powder into their eyes, causing them to lose control of their motorcycle. The attackers, arriving on two motorcycles, then used a sharp weapon to attack Choyta Sarukad, resulting in his death.
Singa Munda, the other individual, was critically wounded. The assailants escaped the scene. Villagers discovered the victims and informed authorities. They were taken to a nearby hospital. The police from Murhu police station have initiated an investigation, based on the survivor’s statements. Authorities have registered a First Information Report (FIR) and are committed to quickly apprehending the culprits.
