YEIDA is fast-tracking the development of a flatted factory in Yamuna City, adjacent to the future Noida International Airport. This project, situated in Sector 28, aims to invigorate the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. The construction is projected to be completed within two years, with an estimated cost of ₹125 crore.
A flatted factory concept involves a multi-story building that accommodates multiple small-scale production facilities under one roof. This model offers considerable benefits for small business owners by improving space efficiency and fostering shared resources. This development marks the first of its kind in the Greater Noida region.
The factory will accommodate more than 100 industrial units, spanning 38,665 square meters. In addition, a Medical Device Park will be established in the same sector to enhance economic potential. Dr. Arun Vir Singh, CEO of YEIDA, noted that the project reflects the government’s focus on assisting small businesses by providing centralized amenities. These amenities will include air conditioning, elevators, firefighting systems, water supply, and electricity. The facility will also feature CCTV security and environmentally friendly design.
This initiative is expected to draw significant investment and generate employment. Its strategic location near the Noida International Airport is also anticipated to increase passenger traffic, as it will simplify travel for business owners from cities such as Jaipur and Mumbai, who currently depend on Delhi Airport for air connectivity.
