A brutal attack in Khunti, Jharkhand, has left one man dead and another injured after an assault by unidentified individuals. The victims, riding a motorcycle, were targeted late Friday night. Following the attack, authorities were alerted, leading to immediate action at the crime scene. The body of the deceased has been taken for post-mortem examination, and an investigation to find the perpetrators is underway.
The attack took place near Kochadih village. As the friends were returning from Saiko market, the attackers first threw chili powder into their eyes at a secluded spot, causing them to crash their motorcycle. The assailants then attacked Choyta Sarukad with a sharp weapon, resulting in his death, while Singa Munda was seriously injured.
The incident was discovered late at night, prompting villagers to rush the victims to a hospital. Despite medical efforts, Choyta Sarukad was pronounced dead. Murhu police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) and are actively searching for the suspects, promising swift action to bring them to justice.
