A young man in Ranchi, Jharkhand, has committed suicide by hanging himself with his mother’s scarf. The incident occurred in the Gaadi village, under the jurisdiction of the Khelgaon police station. The deceased, Prashant Linda, was found dead in his room. The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the suicide, but no suicide note has been found. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination at RIMS hospital. The local community is in shock and mourning the loss.
