Mayuri, who married Vipul Kumar on March 6, 2025, in Nawada, Bihar, moved to Delhi with her husband. The family claims Mayuri discovered her husband’s affair with a woman named Ritika and had proof. They allege that Vipul, his parents, his brother, and Ritika conspired to kill Mayuri and make it appear like a suicide. Mayuri’s mother stated that Vipul was hesitant to bring her to Delhi initially and that Mayuri had shared details of the affair and the evidence she had. Police are searching for the other suspects while Vipul is in custody.
