A distressing incident unfolded in Begusarai, Bihar, where a man was held captive, bound to a pillar, and subjected to a brutal assault. The violent episode was captured on video and widely circulated in the local community. The footage shows the victim being mercilessly beaten, causing distress among those who witnessed it. Acting on the information, the Lakho police arrived at the scene and successfully rescued the man from his attackers.
The incident took place in Manjhampur, Ward Number 15, under the Lakho police station area. The victim, Rajiv Kumar, had reportedly gone to collect an outstanding debt and was returning home when he was intercepted and restrained by the perpetrators.
