Raipur, May 31, 2025/ As per the guidelines of the state government, the counseling process for the posting of surplus head readers and assistant teachers of Korba district is going on today in the presence of Collector Shri Ajit Vasant at Rajiv Gandhi Auditorium Transport Nagar. In the first phase, counseling of surplus head readers was done on the basis of seniority. The counseling process for assistant teachers is ongoing. In the counseling process, the head readers selected the schools of their choice from the vacant places. Assistant teachers are also selecting the schools of their choice from the prescribed list by participating in the counseling.

Collector Shri Ajit Vasant has said that the process of counseling is being adopted with transparency under the instructions of the government. He has said that with the adjustment of surplus teachers in teacherless schools and single-teacher schools in the district, regular teachers will be available to the students of remote areas. Along with this, students will get quality education. New posting orders are also being issued immediately to the teachers who have participated in the counseling in the selected school.

Shriimati Dekumari Sahu, a teacher of Primary School Jenzara, who selected a school of her choice from the prescribed list by participating in the counseling and is going to the new school, appreciated the counseling process and said that she is happy that she will now perform the duty of a teacher in the new school Dhelwadih. She expressed happiness on getting the school of her choice in the counseling.
