Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai met Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji in Parliament House. The meeting discussed industrial development of Chhattisgarh, master plan of development of Bastar and expansion of infrastructure, industry and tourism centers in Naxal -affected areas. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government is determined to take the state to new heights of development with full commitment.
Chief Minister Shri Sai also presented the outline of the proposed Chhattisgarh tour to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 30 March. Various important development projects will be inaugurated during this visit.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji appreciated the Bastar Vikas Yojana and assured the state government of all possible cooperation.
Definition discussion with Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah – Focus on the strategy of eliminating Naxalism and the rapid development of Bastar
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai met Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah at his residence and discussed in detail about the complete elimination of Naxalism, overall development of Bastar and increasing economic activities in the state. The Chief Minister informed the Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah that Naxalism is in its final stages in Chhattisgarh and the state government is taking decisive steps. The joint efforts of the central and state government have weakened the grip of Naxalite organizations and Chhattisgarh is now moving towards a new era. Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah appreciated the efforts of the state government and assured all possible cooperation.

Master Plan of Bastar Development – Coordination and Cooperation with Central Government
Chief Minister Shri Sai presented the master plan of overall development of Bastar region to the Central Government, which laid special emphasis on new opportunities for road, electricity, water, education, health, industry and tourism. The purpose of this master plan is to bring Naxal -affected areas into the mainstream of development and provide new employment opportunities to local youth. The central government accepted this master plan positively and assured all possible help.
Chhattisgarh Vishnu Dev Sai’s visit to Delhi was extremely successful for increasing coordination with the central government for the development of Chhattisgarh and making decisions on important topics. Chief Minister Shri Sai received strong cooperation and support from the central government for the development schemes of the state. He is expected to give new pace and direction to the development of Chhattisgarh with important meetings with various Union ministers and MPs including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah.
