Congress to move no-confidence motion against BJP Govt in CG

Raipur, CGnews: Congress has decided to move a no-confidence motion against the faction ridden BJP Govt of Chhattisgarh in the winter session of the assembly beginning next week. This will be the first time since the BJP came to power in December 7, 2003 , the Congress is moving a no-confidence motion against BJP Govt.

In 2001 Chhattisgarh was gifted to the people by the BJP led NDA Government of that time by carving out from Madhya Pradesh. Now few days back BJP declared the Chhattisgadhi official language.

Congress has 34 members in a 90-member state assembly, the BJP 52 members and the Nationalist Congress Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party one each. Two seats are vacant..
 

Old man copied Dharmendra to climb on tank for suicide

Bhilai, CGnews: Frustrated an old man of 73 years struggling for his right since last 30 years attempted to commit suicide by climbing on a tank but asurace from police saves him. Painful romantic filmy drama happened near Mourya Chadra Talkies, Bhilai. On the spot the old man said to the police that he would give two days for the the ompliance his rights and would continue to stay on the top of the tank till then.

The old man bearing Israel name is a resident of Qr No. 2 B. St 22, Sector –I of Bhilai. He reported to the police that he had been allotted a patta in Titurdih, Durg in 1977. There he was given 2000 Sq Ft of land which was cancelled in 1984. Since that time he has been trying to get his land back.

He showed a bundle of documents which is related to his representation from Durg to Delhi before the authorities but has not been able to get the land back.

Just after seeing the first raise of sun shine of Nov 23, he decided to make suicide by climbing on the tank and then jumping from the top of that.

Muslim women move towards education

Raipur, CGnews: The 5,000-odd women of the Bharatiya Muslim Mahila Andolan (BMMA) work for the uplift of Indian Muslim women across the country and strongly believe that education is the one tool that will empower them. Around 350 of its members were in the capital last week for the first annual convention.

The organization has its presence in 12 states, including Maharashtra , Gujarat , Tamil Nadu, West Bengal , Delhi and Chhattisgarh. They are next planning to go to Bihar and Assam .

The main aim of the organization is to fight on behalf of the Muslim women for their constitutional rights. And we will fight democratically.
