The SP, BSP and RJD which fought elections against the Congress said they have decided to pledge their support to the UPA to "strengthen secular forces" and to keep the Bharatiya Janata Party out. Left has weaken the opposition in the past by giving outside support to the ruling Congress. Left parties have dug their grays in their castles Kerala and West Bengal to support Congress in the centre. BJP has at present not effective role to play in both provinces. Still their enemy is BJP instead of Congress.
They adopt this undemocratic and decisive attempt to stab the opposition BJP. They would make grounds to hurdle in the way of strong and credible opposition.
I use the strongest violent word ‘stab’ because voters of India supported them in 2004 as well as in 2009 for executing the opposition role with in and outside the parliament, which neither they could do in the past neither they want to do in future. Now they have become nude in the eyes of the voters of India.
Democracy depends on a strong credible opposition
Governance is not only about ruling. A credible opposition can also make a difference to the governance. Democracy depends on a strong opposition also. A strong credible opposition can offer electors credible alternative government. Congress Party has exploited its dominant position by giving slogan of fake secularism to close down opposition role of SP, BSP and others.
2009 sidelined the Regional and Left leaning parties
The clear victory for the Congress-led alliance in recent general elections has sidelined an array of regional and left leaning parties, which came to the center stage of Indian politics over the last two decades as national parties lost influence. The elections have also paved the way for the Bhartiya Janta Party and the Congress Party to recover their position as India's dominant political forces.
BJP as a strong credible opposition
Without a strong force the opposition cannot achieve anything for the people. If BJP wants to be effective there is only one way and that is to play an effective role of opposition within and outside parliament, so people can judge it as an alternative ruling party of future. A weak opposition can never make a dent in the Congress led ulta pulta alliance UPA.
It is simply stupid to argue that defeat of Bhartiya Janta Party resulted out of the speech of Varun Gandhi and the election rallies of Narendra Modi. Fake Pseudo secularist forces including, TV channels and English Media presented them wrongly. Why did BJP become defensive in this point? ‘Muslim’ word not present in the speech of Varun from beginning to end. If anyone find then please let us know the people. There might be other reasons which would be found very soon.
What type of parliament we want in India?

The President of Armenia on December 28, 1994, banned nation's leading opposition party. Over 40 members of the Armenian parliament have suspended their activity in the parliament in the protest. Togolese voted on 25 October 2002, but the main opposition parties could not take part in the poll. Ruling party of Georgia called opposition as the enemy of the nation in the parliament. Zambia is facing the same problem. These incidents should not be repeated in India,”
