Raipur, CGnews: “I feel that the BJP leadership will have always regretted and repented that Mayawati never allowed impositions of its thought and ideology over her government despite talking support from them,” she said.

Apparently sending a strong signal to the minorities, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati has said that despite sharing power with the Bharatiya Janata Party three times, she always kept the saffron party on tenterhooks.

"I feel that the BJP leadership will have always regretted and repented that Mayawati never allowed imposition of its thought and ideology over her government despite taking support from them," she said.

The BJP leadership might be feeling that "I cared two hoots for them and kept them on tenterhooks", the BSP leader says in her autobiographical book.

In the 1000-page book written in Hindi titled Mere Sangharshmay Jeevan Aevam BSP movement ka safarnama", the UP chief minister says that "we were completely successful in our strategy".

She says at that time it was essential for the BSP to make timely change in its strategy by aligning with the SP to show an aggressive BJP "its proper place".

The BJP leadership might be feeling that:I cared to hooks for them and kept them on tenterhooks,” she says in her autobiographical book using the phrase in Hindi ‘Juti ken ok per hi rakha’.

While the Congress had been already "angry" with the BSP for ensuring its marginalization in the politically key state, the BJP, too, adopted a similar attitude, she says.

Mayawati's remarks have come at a time when her party is attempting to make inroads into various states outside Uttar Pradesh, including states known as the bastions of the BJP as also the Congress such as Chhattisgarh.

In the book, the BSP leader has made it known that she would like to become the first prime minister from the oppressed class.

Her party has also made it clear that it would not go in for alliances with any party in the Assembly polls as also in the Lok Sabha elections.

This is the reason BSP is beating every party. There is a bloodbath in Uttar Pradesh against the Samajwadi Party as Samajwadi Party did in its tenure against BJP and BSP. MP weeps in Parliament?

Mayawati reached Raipur with Politics of Violence

The political battle of violence in Uttar Pradesh between Samajwadi Party and BSP was enacted in Chhattisgarh on Jan 18 when SP workers waved black flags and raised anti-BSP and pro-Mulayam Singh Yadav slogans, threw black flags and x-ray negatives at the vehile carrying Mayawati who is on a two-day visit to the state capital

BSP cadres retaliated to SP attack by setting afire SP state unit chief Balram Singh Yadav's house.

State youth SP President Dinesh Patil with his supporters, stopped the bulletproof car of Mayawati proceeding from the airport to the city, police said.

Within an hour of the incident, BSP activists gathered in front of Yadav's residence at New Rajendra Nagar locality here and set his house on fire, Additional SP Raipur, Dr Lal Umed Singh said.

No one was injured in the incident as the house was locked but a brand new car and a couple of other things were gutted in the fire, Singh said. After the fire incident, SP workers demanded action against BSP workers.
Tension mounted following the slogan-shouting by both sides and police twice used force to disperse the rival sides. However, police intervened and steered her car out of the protestors.
