Durg, CGnews: Illegal foreigners in Durg district are lucky to enjoy all rights of citizenship. Vote bank politics provided ‘Rashan Cards’ to the foreigners including Pakistanis. Their names have been included in the voter list. They are below poverty line list BPL to hide their identities.

As per reliable sources about 500 foreigners mostly Pakistanis are residing in Durg district. Most of them are absconding and living in the district especially in Durg and Bhilai, without prior permission. Still they have not extended their visas.

They are not traceable by local police. Though Dipanshu Kabra SP of Durg claims that department has complete information about the presence of foreigners.

Durg Municipal Commissioner Mr S K Sundarani washed his hands to say that the names in the BPL list where included on the basis of survey report. But Rashan Cards are issued after getting a simple application with affidavit.

Recently, a few persons closely associated with banned moist organization where arrested at Bhilai. This information is most important in the background of escaping more than hundred naxalist with their two times more other prisoners from Dantewada Jail. Because of their escaping, neighboring naxalist states Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar are on police alert. Up till now Jharkhand could not announce police alert because its police is engage in Lathi Charge on the protesters of BJP.
