| Passport office is soon in Chhattisgarh |

Raipur, CGnews: External Affairs Minister of the Union Government has given its sanction for establishing in state headquartered Raipur a fully fledged passport office. At the time of their government NDA also sanctioned passport office for Chhattisgarh. But lack of seriousness on the part of External Affairs Ministry, it was delayed.
After long wait of seven years, now have its own passport office in the state would be initiated from this month. Earlier all passport related jobs were done through the passport office of Bhopal. As increase in more than 30 percents in foreign travel through this state makes load in the Bhopal passport office. Bhopal office does not pay enough attention to the applications received from Chhattisgarh.
The tourist who came to Chhattisgarh had to also face trouble as the passport office is in other state. Every month thousands of applications for passport are received by the Bhopal office. It takes many months for sending passports against applications received from Chhattisgarh. Expenses are also more as the agents’ charges extra to make passport from Bhopal office. On the opening of passport office in Chhattisgarh all these problems might be solved. |

Son declares mother dead to sell her property |

Raipur, CGnews: Purshotam, 47, of Chhattisgarh, declares his mother dead, to sell a piece of one acre land situated in Tekardahi 110 Km away from Rajnandgaon city is owned by the woman.
According to the police that Firanteen Bai 68 year’s old widow has registered an FIR against her son that acquiring her fake death certificate from municipal authorities Purshotam has struck a deal for her land. Pushotam has miss informed that his mother had died to the Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation.
The police in charge Shyamsundar Sharma said that Firanteen Bai had been working as a maid since her drunkard son forced her to abandon her house almost 18 months back. She appeared before the police Saturday and registered an FIR against her son.
The police have been conducting raids to arrest Purshotam, who is missing.
