Raipur, CGnews: As alleged there is a land scam of Rs 900 cores unearthed in Bhilai. It is claimed that Durg Dist bureaucrats have transferred the land in Kohak and Jurud are of Bhilai against the prevailing rule and regulations in the name of “District Congress Committee’s former President Late Vasudev Chandrakar and 13 others. How Congress is become the party of Aam Aadami, this is an example.
The matter came to light in Jan 2008 after transfers and new postings in the name of above said Congress leader and his other 13 companions.

The newly posted SDO Q A Khan treating the transfer deed dubious sent it to the newly posted Tehsildar US Agrawal on Jan 21.
Enquiry disclosed that after Revenue Boards’ order the procedures of transfer deed have not been followed and just after receiving the order the transfer was done within a day without publishing it in the newspapers.
On the basis of this SDM cancelled this transfer of land. Now the Government has ordered the Dist authorities to take this matter to the High Court.
