Raipur, CGnews: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will launch a Rs.8.5 billion annual subsidised food scheme of the Chhattisgarh government on Jan 16 with other BJP CMs and Central leaders of the party including Rajnath Singh.

BJP Govt of Chhattisgarh realized that "Bhukhe bhajan hoi naa goapalaa". After Advani of 1992, now Modi becomes the democratically victorious messenger of Hindutva in India after winning the Gujarat Assembly Election. CM Raman Singh wants to utilise the opportunity by taking the blessing of Ram to do good for the poor people of his state thechhattisgarh.

"Modi will wave Hindutva in converted Christian dominated town Ambikapur district headquarters of Surguja on Jan 16 at a function.

The scheme will provide rice at Rs.3 per kg to 3.4 million poverty-stricken families come under BPL

Other CMs of BJP ruled states and party leaders would launch the scheme simultaneously at 15 locations in the state.

The BJP, which came to power in the mineral-rich state in December 2003, is launching the scheme with an eye on the assembly elections due in November this year. First trial is going on in Keshkal by-election. Though, in Keshkal Dist this scheme will be effective after the completion of election process there.
